Cecilia Bolling, B.A.
Cecilia is a first year student in the general clinical psychology M.S. program at Eastern Michigan University. Prior to attending this graduate program, Cecilia was an undergraduate student at Calvin University and graduated in Winter 2021 with a B.A. in Psychology. Following graduation, Cecilia worked full time at several research institutions, most recently at Michigan Medicine as a clinical research coordinator. Her primary studies evaluated substance use relapse reduction through administration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy within populations that also had comorbid insomnia. Working on these studies inspired her desire to increase access to substance use disorder treatment within populations that have common comorbidities such as insomnia, PTSD, anxiety disorders etc; as well as exploring therapeutic interventions best suited to these individuals.
In her free time, Cecilia is an avid hiker and is likely planning her next adventure. She also enjoys reading fantasy novels, baking homemade sourdough bread, and catching up with friends at different local restaurants.
